Vehicle slides off road in Packerton

Traffic was slow on Route 209 between Lehighton and Jim Thorpe Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle went off a steep embankment.
Fire police were called to the scene to control traffic while the SUV was recovered.
The driver was taken to St. Luke’s Gnaden Huetten campus for treatment of injuries.
