Vehicle stop leads to drug arrest

State police at Lehighton said a vehicle stop led to an arrest on drug charges.

Troopers said a vehicle stop was made at 10:27 p.m. on Dec. 30 along Burger Hollow Road in Polk Township, Monroe County. During the stop a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Caleb Ryan Newton, 21, no address given, was found to be in possession of illegal substances and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed.
