Walnutport Borough Council

Walnutport Borough Council took the following action at a workshop held recently:

• Agreed to have Mayor Wayne Weidner invoke a 90-day temporary no parking along Lehigh Street.

• Agreed to have Swanson’s Lawn Care and Maintenance perform landscape work at the borough entrance and police department in the amount of $1,870.

• Announced that former part-time maintenance worker James Dotter will continue to be paid for the weeks ending July 15, July 22 and July 29.

• Agreed to have Rebecca Herring open and close the pavilion at the cost of $25 per event, and $10 an hour to clean.
