WALNUTPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL

Walnutport Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Agreed to spend $3,000 to finish the veteran’s memorial, and another $400 a load for top soil, for which it will need between four to six truck loads.

• Approved a resolution to replace a prior resolution concerning the vacuum sweep grant.

• Appointed Debbie Moyer to represent Walnutport as a trustee on the Slatington Library board of directors.
