Watch for icy spots as temperatures drop today

Light rain may change to snow before ending later this morning with some areas of light snow accumulation possible, then temperatures drop through the day reaching at or below freezing this afternoon especially in the Poconos. Any remaining untreated wet surfaces could turn icy.

Tuesday: Rain showers, possibly mixing with snow after 9 a.m., then gradually ending. Temperature falling to around 31 by 4 p.m. Northwest wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 16. Northwest wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 15. Light and variable wind.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 39.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26.
