Weatherly American Legion Post 360 presented five Weatherly area nonprofit organizations each with $100 donations provided by the Carbon County Veterans Council before the recent Community Chest meeting at the borough building. The organizations are: Weatherly Ambulance Association, Weatherly Area Community Chest, Weatherly Area Community Library, Weatherly Area Museum and Cub Scout Pack 007. The money is provided by the Carbon County Veterans Council to the veteran organizations of Carbon County as checks to help local nonprofit organizations.
