Weatherly police warn residents

Weatherly Police posted Friday that they’ve had several reports that someone has been walking in backyards, around garages and sheds, and entering fenced in yards.

A couple of burglaries have been reported in the past weeks.

Police ask people to call 9-1-1 if someone or something that looks out of place or suspicious, call 911.

This is the season when people target homes and cars for hidden Christmas gifts.

Police advise residents to lock their doors, make sure motion lights are working, and stay in contact with neighbors about who should be around your property.
