Weatherly tax collector hours

The final day for Weatherly Borough property owners and residents to pay 2019 Weatherly Borough and Weatherly Area School District real estate and per capita taxes and Carbon County real estate taxes at the penalty values printed on the tax bills or reminder letters previously mailed for unpaid real estate taxes is Dec. 31, 2019.

Payments must be made by guaranteed funds such as money order, cashier check or certified check.

A separate money order, cashier check or certified check payable to Deborah A. Kohler, tax collector, is needed for the tax of each municipality.

Personal and business checks will not be accepted. Failure to pay with money order, cashier check or certified check will cause taxes to remain unpaid and subject to additional collection costs charged by the delinquent tax collectors.

Tax collector office hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 26 at 794 North St.
