A festive turkey made of recycled books is on display at the Lehighton Area Memorial Library on North Street in Lehighton throughout the month of November. The turkey was created by library aide Kathy Long, who is also spearheading the library’s second sale of recycled book “trees” and other sculptures to raise money for the library. Holiday and gift items made from recycled books will be available at the Lehighton library starting the day after Thanksgiving. STACEY SOLT/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS
