The Eldred Township Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for this evening is canceled. The next meeting of the Board of Supervisors will be Aug. 15.
Legion happenings
American Legion Post 927’s Home Association will meet at 7:30 p.m. today at the post home in Gilbert.
The post itself will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
An officers induction ceremony for incoming officers for Legion Post 927, Ladies Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The Sons of the American Legion will meet at 11 a.m. Sunday.
OES meets
The Monroe Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rimrock Masonic Center in Bartonsville.
