Meeting canceled
Due to the anticipated bad weather, the Eldred Township board of supervisors meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled. The next regularly scheduled Supervisors meeting will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Municipal Building.
PVEN meets
The Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville. The fundraising committee meets at 9 a.m.
Olde-Tyme meets
The next meeting of Pocono Old Tyme is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the new Museum Building at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert.

WELL board
The West End Little League board of directors is slated to meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chestnuthill Township Park. The League meeting is next Thursday, also at 7:30 p.m. at the same site.
PV Board
The Pleasant Valley School District’s Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Administrative Center in Brodheadsville.
Chestnuthill Seniors
A program on nutrition education will be presented by Alison Reyes, R.N. from Sodexo Health Care services, at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
The menu item available to attending seniors that day is pork and peppers. To partake, call the site manager at 570-242-6770 by 11 a.m. the day before.
Next Wednesday’s offering is fish almandine.
