Drop-off requests

Salem UCC, Gilbert, has a used clothing drop-off. A locally owned company, a member of the Better Business Bureau, owns it.

The company’s mission is to get usable clothing to people who can use it here in the USA and in third-world countries. It reimburses site-sponsoring entities a percentage of the company’s income.

Items accepted are all clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, drapes and stuffed toys.

No rags, fabric scraps, toys or household goods are accepted. When people donate them, it costs money to dispose of them, and that does not help the church or the company.

Donors are asked to put their donations in plastic bags to help keep donations clean and dry.
