Those seeking help at that time are asked to make sure to bring proof of income, rent receipts — if renting, paid property taxes — if one owns his/her home and the property tax/rent rebate form (PA-1000) if one was mailed to the home.

Copies of the tax/rent rebate form will be available.

Notary services will not be available at the community site, so if one does not have all of the rent receipts for 2018, the application will have to be notarized after it is completed.

For more information, contact the Aging Office at 570-420-3735 or toll free at 800-498-0330.
