Eldred supervisors
The board of supervisors for Eldred Township is slated to meet at 7 p.m. today.
Day of Prayer
The sanctuary doors of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, Saylorsburg, will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the National Day of Prayer on Thursday.
A service of prayer for the unification and healing of the country, its people and leaders will be held at 7 p.m. and include testimony, music and song and worship. The service will be preceded at 6 p.m. with light supper and fellowship.
People are also welcome to pray alone or with prayer partners throughout the day.
St. Peter’s is located at 924 Route 115, Saylorsburg, next to Dollar General.

Band Parents
The Pleasant Valley Band Parents meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school band room.
OES meets
The Monroe County Order of the Eastern Star will have a stated, but closed, meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rimrock Masonic Center on Rimrock Drive.
In addition to the business meeting, the installation of officers will take place.
Middle school production
The Pleasant Valley drama/musical production will be presented three times this weekend, with the first showing at 7 p.m. Friday, the second at 2 p.m. Saturday and the third at 7 p.m. Saturday.
