Deadline today
Monroe County’s 101st annual meeting and volunteer recognition banquet will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16, at the Sycamore Grille in Delaware Water Gap.
There are four different cost rates: Extension Board, 4-H PAC/leaders, Master Gardeners and public and guests.
RSVP and payment deadline is today.

All Saints Mass
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Gilbert will hold a Mass for All Saints at 7 p.m. today.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Tax office
The Eldred Township Tax Collector’s office will be closed on Thursday and Saturday.
The office will reopen on Tuesday.
The last day of payments for the base period is Nov. 30. Payments received after that date are subject to a 10 percent penalty.
The tax office will have extended hours on Nov. 30. The office will be open from 1-6 p.m.
Eldred Supervisors
The Eldred Township board of supervisors will meet at 7:30 p.m. today at the municipal center in Kunkletown.
Home Association
The West End American Legion Home Association is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. today. Nominations for officers will be accepted as part of the regular meeting.
The Legion will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Mission meal
The West End Mission will serve a free meal at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Gilbert at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Planet Learn
Pleasant Valley School District kindergarten will hold Planet Learn family night at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Center fundraiser
The Eldred Township Community Center in Kunkletown is holding a Pampered Chef fundraiser on Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m. The public is welcome.
