Thanksgiving Eve service
The Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network’s Thanksgiving service will be held at Salem United Church of Christ in Gilbert at 3 p.m. Nov. 11. A special invitation to all PVEN member churches to be involved in the service, whether members participate in the choir or join in the service is being extended by Dorothy Hepner from Salem UCC. Offerings and food donations will be collected for the PVEN food pantry.

Practice for the combined choir will be at 2 p.m. on the day of the service at the church.
NYC Christmas show
The West End Park and Open Space Commission is sponsoring a bus trip to Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas Spectacular at 2 p.m. Dec. 6.
The bus departs at 8 a.m. from Chestnuthill Park in Brodheadsville and returns at 7 p.m.
