Reformation Sunday
Zion Lutheran in Brodheadsville will celebrate Reformation Sunday at its 8 and 10:30 a.m. services and the 9:15 a.m. Sunday school classes.
A Reformation luncheon will take place at noon as well as a silent Relay for Life art auction. At 1 p.m., a postponed Harvest Festival, previously announced for Oct. 14, will take place.
WITNESS coming
St. Peter’s UMC, Saylorsburg, will welcome WITNESS on Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m.
The group has been presenting the gospel of Christ through music to people of all denominations in many churches within the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.
Christian education classes begin at 9 a.m. Coffee and fellowship follows worship.

Family rosary
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church is having a family rosary night at 6:15 p.m. Sunday around a bonfire, weather permitting, on the Weis Lake side of the church.
Attendees are asked to bring their own chair, blankets and family.
There will be games, music, prayer and s’mores
MAL meeting
The monthly meeting of the Monroe Animal League will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Eastern Monroe County Library on Route 611 in Stroudsburg.
MAL promotes spay/neuter and humane education as a way to control pet overpopulation, and thus relieves cruelty and suffering among animals.

Upcoming drive
American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive at from 1-6 p.m. Nov. 3. One can give regular blood or PowerRed donations.
Veterans Day
On Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., American Legion Post 927 on Fairgrounds Road in Gilbert will hold a special ceremony to honor all veterans’ services.
Included will be guest speakers.
Light refreshments will be served.
