West Penn Township

West Penn Township supervisors also took the following action on Monday:

• Awarded a bid to Hahner Bros. Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. in the amount of $7,600, to repair the roof of the township municipal building to address leaks.

• Adopted a resolution to appoint Certified Public Accounting Firm, Lettich & Zapay, to audit the township’s accounts for the year ending Dec. 31, 2017.

• Appointed Karen Wittig as the chief administrative officer of the West Penn Township Police.

• Accepted the 2017 Act 205 Report & Actuarial Valuation Report from Univest Municipal Pension Services, and to submit the report to the Auditor General.

• Acknowledged that the township is aware of and acknowledges the route of the Ragnar Relay in order for them to get their Pennsylvania Department of Transportation permit.
