WEST PENN TOWNSHIP

West Penn Township supervisors approved the following action on Monday:

• The resignation of part-time police officer Frank Lorah.

• A request by Madison Schock of Girl Scout Troop 30148 to utilize the township municipal building as a book drop-off point as part of a book drive to benefit the Tamaqua Public Library.

• Conditional approval on the Faust minor subdivision plan, contingent upon satisfying comments from Lehigh Engineering LLC, Brior Environment Inc. and the Schuylkill County Planning Commission.

• Dean and Andrea Arner’s request for modification to the subdivision and land development ordinance’s process of a land development plan contingent upon satisfying comments from the Lehigh Engineering LLC letter dated Jan. 21.

• Announced that the Comprehensive Plan Advisory meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at the annex building.
