WEST PENN TOWNSHIP

West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Monday morning:

• Announced the township is accepting letters of interest from candidates to serve on the township’s zoning hearing board.

• Appointed Supervisor Glenn Hummel and Treasurer Karen Wittig as the chief administrators of the police pension plan.

• Agreed to advertise for mowing for both parks in the township.

• Agreed to allow Zion’s Stone to use township equipment to haul materials.

• Adopted a resolution for 2020 price adjustment of bituminous materials for small quantities.
