West Penn Township

West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Monday morning:

• Approved a general obligation note ordinance for $43,850 to buy a backhoe.

• Accepted bids in the amount of $4,800 for a truck, $525 for a tar buggy, $120 for a plow, and $90 for 15 lights with diffusers.

• On a 2-1 vote, with board Chairman Tony Prudenti opposed, agreed to have Miller’s Lawn & Landscape perform the mowing of the West Penn Park — East at the rate of $100 weekly for 27 weeks.

• Agreed to have a resolution made up concerning the zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance fees.

• Approved a vacating road ordinance.
