WEST PENN TOWNSHIP

West Penn Township supervisors took the following action on Monday:

• Agreed to advertise the impound lot ordinance for adoption at next month’s meeting.

• Agreed to disburse $27,669 to the West Penn Township Fire Co. No. 1 Relief Association.

• Agreed to allow the police department to transfer $20,000 from the police department’s payroll and are moving it to the police department’s expense account.

• Announced that next month’s board of supervisors evening meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the firehouse.

• Announced that the township’s zoning update committee will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the township municipal building, while the Nov. 12 meeting will be held at the annex building.
