West Penn Township Supervisors

West Penn Township supervisors took the following action on Monday:

• Approved the payment and indemnification agreement with Walker Township for the 2018 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Seal Coat Project. The total cost is $385,087; of that, West Penn’s portion is $299,420, while Walker’s portion is $85,647.

• Held a 2018 Community Development Block Grant public hearing. The township expects to receive about $90,000 in CDBG funds.

• Announced that an electronic recycling event will be held at the Mahoning Valley Farmers Market from 9-11 a.m. Aug. 25.

• Adopted the Fair Housing Resolution of 2018.
