West Penn Township Supervisors meet
West Penn Township supervisors also took the following action Tuesday morning:
• Agreed to have its board solicitor review an agreement for a billboard that would be located at its police department at no cost to the township. The township received just one bid, which came from Land Displays, for a 12-by-25 billboard. The firm is interested in installing the billboard and paying the township a rental fee over the course of a 15-year contract. Board Chairman Tony Prudenti said he was interested in negotiating with the firm further.
• Appointed Robert Stegmeier to a six-year term as an auditor.
• Approved a resolution for the Bobick minor subdivision.
