Wind damage takes a toll

High winds caused damage throughout the area Wednesday afternoon.
ABOVE: A tree fell across the road in front of 200 N. Lehigh St. in Tamaqua. With help from the Tamaqua fire police, police department and fire department, the tree was cleared from the street. MARY RUTH AND GEORGE TAYLOR/TIMES NEWS
