Winter storm warning in effect for snow and ice

The National Weather Service has declared a winter storm warning in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday,

Snowfall tonight will become freezing rain towards daybreak Tuesday and freezing rain continues through Tuesday. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations of up to one quarter of an inch.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute tonight and Tuesday night, as well as the Tuesday morning commute.
