Wolff will represent the people
Dear Editor,
I’m supporting Denny Wolff, Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, and I believe my reasoning is most substantive, that is, important and valuable to the residents of the district. If you haven’t met Denny Wolff, you should. The district represents about 700,000 residents, so getting around to meet everyone is a very difficult task. That’s not to say Denny hasn’t tried. He has made numerous trips to Carbon and Schuylkill counties, and, in each of them, has shown the people he has a genuine interest in them.
Denny is a down-to-earth person, a lifelong farmer who has spent his entire life here. He is a gentleman who is kind and caring. He’s the type of individual I’d welcome anytime at my supper table. I believe you will find a substantive argument Denny Wolff is the only choice to represent us in Washington. He will vote for the things that are important and valuable to our families. Denny will fight cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. His votes will be to preserve the Affordable Care Act, enabling persons with pre-existing conditions to have coverage they not only need, but depend on, and he will fight to lessen burdens on us in things like prescription drugs.
Denny understands our needs because they’re his needs, and they’re the needs of the people who have been his neighbors for decades. On Nov. 6, I hope the people of Carbon and Schuylkill counties will vote Denny Wolff, a man who is genuinely interested in our lives and our future.
Sincerely,
Billy O’Gurek Jr.
