Woman damages gas pump, agrees to pay

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks were summoned to investigate a criminal mischief incident that happened at 5:26 p.m. Sept. 26, on Route 209 in Hamilton Township, resulting in $500 in damages being caused to a gas pump.

Police said they arrested a 41-year-old woman from Stroudsburg who caused the damages.

Police said she began to drive away from the gas pumps at the S and M Mini-Mart, Route 209, with the hose still attached to her vehicle. Police said the woman put the hose away and drove off knowing she damaged the pump.

She was contacted and agreed to make restitution for the damages, police said.
