Woman dies in Lehigh River

Published August 08. 2018 12:14PM

A Philadelphia woman died in a possible drowning on the Lehigh River over the weekend.

Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller said that Rosa Spadaro, 67, of Philadelphia was rafting on the Lehigh River Sunday near the area where Route 895 crosses the Lehigh when she went into the water.

She was pulled out by crews at the boat launch in Bowmanstown.

He said officials weren’t sure if she had a heart attack or drowned but an autopsy performed on Tuesday ruled out a heart attack.

Results from the autopsy are still pending, Miller said.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission are investigating.

Why would they post "Officials don't know if she drowned or had a heart attack, but the autopsy ruled out a heart attack". And then on the next paragraph it reads "Results of an autopsy are still pending.". Does Oppie from 'Family Guy" do the writing?
Guess you're new to reading the times news....all the writers are remedial at best, some are absolutely dreadful, and anything from larry neff...just useless
Sounds like Democrat Socialist candidate Ocasio-Cortez talking. Doesn't make any sense.
