Woman dies in Monroe County crash

An elderly woman died as the result of a three-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:13 p.m. on Sunday along Business Route 209 at the intersection with Route 33 in Hamilton Township.
State police at Stroudsburg identified the victim as Susan Deremer, 70, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved.
Police did not provide addresses for any of the people involved.
According to troopers, Star Rousie-Levitt, 21, was driving northbound on 209 while William Deremer was behind her.
Scott Young, 32, was southbound on 209.
Troopers said Rousie-Levitt slowed down to turn onto 33 when her vehicle was struck in the rear by the Deremer vehicle.
After impact, the Rousie-Levitt vehicle traveled into the southbound lane and was struck by the Young vehicle.
Rousie-Levitt had passengers Brandon Silva, 23, and Gabrielle Silva, 25. Young had passenger Brittany Young, 32.
