Woman facing drug charges
A Nesquehoning woman is facing drug charges following an incident in Summit Hill on April 1.
Police said they saw Felicia Bower, 31, walking in the 100 block of North Oak Street at 7:55 p.m. Police had knowledge that there was an active warrant for her arrest for failure to appear. She was taken into custody. While being taken into custody police found on her person a pink backpack that contained 13 glassine baggies of suspected heroin, eight syringes, a packet of rubber bands, a pink and yellow “vape” container with cotton swab heads inside and a red and green container of methamphetamine.
Police said Bower initially claimed the backpack was not hers, but then said some of her personal items inside the backpack were hers. She refused to speak any further with police.
Police charged her with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
