Woman injured in motorcycle crash

A woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a crash in Ryan Township. The crash occurred on Tuscarora Mountain Road, just south of Route 54.
The woman was riding on a motorcycle with her husband as they crossed a wet metal grate bridge and the bike spun out.
The woman was treated at the scene by members of the Ryan Township ambulance before being transported to a local trauma center.
The Hometown fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.
The two were riding with a group all from Quebec, Canada.
State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
