Woman involved in one-vehicle crash

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 3:31 p.m. on June 27 along Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Natalie K. Kleintop, 54, of Palmerton, was driving a 2017 Cadillac XTS southbound when she may have fallen asleep, causing the vehicle to go onto the berm and hit a rocky embankment. Upon impact, the vehicle continued to roll over onto its left side and back onto the road, coming to rest.

Troopers said Kleintop was seen outside the vehicle, sitting on the road. She reported minor cuts to her left arm and was evaluated at the scene by members of the Palmerton EMS unit. The vehicle had to be towed.
