Woman, passenger unhurt in 309 crash

A Philadelphia woman and her passenger escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6:03 a.m. Sunday on the Mile Hill, Route 309, in Kline Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Brynn V. Decker, 18, was operating the 2009 Toyota Corolla southbound when she lost control of it on the icy roadway while traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle traveled off the western berm and struck an embankment, causing it to roll over onto its roof in the southbound lane.

The passenger was a 16-year-old boy from Paulsboro, New Jersey

Police said Decker was cited in the crash.
