Woman suffers injuries in Jonas crash

Chely T. Klein, 46, of Albrightsville, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:41 a.m. Sept. 25 on the Jonas Road in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said the severity of her injuries are unknown. She was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by the West End Ambulance Service.

Police said she was driving a 2010 Buick Lucerne eastbound when she failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and went out of control, spinning counterclockwise and going off the right side of the road before rolling over two times and coming to rest on its roof.

The woman was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
