Writing group to discuss the creative process
If you need an outlet for your creativity, you may want to attend the Black Diamond Writers’ Network meeting from 10 a.m. until noon Oct. 20 at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St. in Tamaqua. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Guest speaker Kevin Smith, a Schuylkill County multimedia artist with a passion for writing and words, will share written stories and songs from his one-year walk across the country. Smith’s artistic passion began in high school and later at Tyler School of Art and the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles.
