Year in Review: CCTI takes top honors in standardized tests

Carbon Career and Technical Institute took top honors among Pennsylvania’s career and technical schools for the 2016-2017 year, marking the fourth year in a row that it has achieved the rank.

With a School Performance Profile score of 91.7, CCTI led the list of 16 career and technical schools throughout the state, and also ranked highest among all local schools’ scores.

The SPPs evaluate comprehensive student academic achievement and provide results that allow districts to target areas for improvement.

The scores assess school’s performance on a 0-100 scale based on standardized testing, student improvement, advanced courses and graduation rates.
