Some people tell me they think I'm a caring person.

Well, yes and no.

I greatly care about my family and friends.

That's all I can think about as David and I ride our bikes past "the house."

There are some things we seem to know intuitively. Then we feel good when some expert comes along and reaffirms what we already know.

Having children gives us many pleasures, pains, laughs, anxiety, pride, disappointments, comfort, burdens and blessings.

Wherever I go, I hear people saying they can't believe how fast 2012 flew by.

So true.
