No purses, backpacks at Pleasant Valley game

People attending tonight’s Pleasant Valley football game will no longer be allowed to bring bookbags or purses into the stadium.

Pleasant Valley High School Principal Matt Triolo put out a call to parents Thursday evening to tell them of the change that he said was for safety reasons.

Only small clutches and wristlets will be allowed.

This will be the rule moving forward for all afterschool events in the gymnasium or stadium.

Triolo has not returned a request for comment.
