Mako to host third annual Senior Expo

Senior citizens in the 183rd Legislative District are invited to Rep. Zach Mako’s third annual senior expo on Sept. 13. The free expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Drive in Cherryville.

More than 75 local, state and federal agencies and organizations will offer information on programs and services available to seniors. Free flu shots will be available, assuming no manufacturing delays. Free health screenings, including vision, balance and blood pressure, also will be offered. CarFit will again be on hand.
