Woman rescued after fall at the Glen
Six communities dispatched resources Wednesday to help in rescuing a woman
from the trail to the Glen Onoko Falls. The incident began at 1:41 p.m. when it was reported a woman fell off the trail through some trees, suffering head and facial injuries.
Rescuers learned she was also suffering a leg injury.
The operation took three hours to bring the victim to safety. She was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics then transported to the Lehigh Valley hospital trauma center in Allentown. The woman was described as being in her mid to late twenties.
Responding were the Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Nesquehoning, Beaver Meadows, Penn Forest and Lehigh - Lausanne townships fire companies.

Also, if the EMTs accept they are going to spent a good percent of their lives rescuing these dummies, there should be a helo-pad at the top of the mountain. it seems most of these fall happen near the top. It is easier to transport 'victim' up a little than down a lot.
