Search for missing man suspended Sunday

A man remains missing after a search ended Sunday afternoon in Penn Forest Township.
Jeremy Cosmi, 25, of Souderton, was last seen at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Towamensing Trails Road and Route 534 in Albrightsville.
Officials said he is possibly suffering from a head injury and in need of medical attention.
The details regarding why Cosmi, a resident of Souderton, was in the area, and how he came to be missing are not being shared by law enforcement at this time.
Cosmi was described as a “white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a red tattoo on his face.” He is described as having a mohawk and wearing a blue shirt.
According to Emergency Management Agency Coordinator Mark Nalesnik, the decision to call off the search at around 1 p.m. on Sunday was a joint decision made by the members of the Unified Command, which was made up of the Pennsylvania State Police, Penn Forest Fire Company No. 2 Fire Chief, David Vukovic and Nalesnik.
“The investigation is in the hands of the Pennsylvania State Police at this time,” Nalesnik said. “We made our decision based on what we felt was best for the safety of the 100 volunteers who showed up to help in the search.”
The state police declined any further comments on the search at this time.
