Police determine bomb threat ‘non-credible’ at Palmerton school

State police at the Lehighton reported today an incident they were called to on Tuesday at the Palmerton Area High School, 3525 Fireline Road, Lower Towamensing Township, was found to be a “non-credible” bomb threat.

Police were called there at 12:20 p.m. after it was discovered unknown actor(s) wrote a bomb threat on a bathroom stall door, but police said it was determined to be non-credible.

Police listed the nature of the incident as a “threat to use weapons of mass destruction.”
