Rollover closes Route 54
Emergency crews begin to clean up trash from a tractor-trailer rollover at 8:55 a.m. Monday at the Minzer’s Hill section of Route 54 west of Hometown. Rush and Ryan township fire departments, Tamaqua Rescue and Lehighton EMS were called to the scene. All lanes were blocked on the busy roadway between Tamaqua and Mahanoy City.
