Nesquehoning police release details of weekend crash

Police have released the name of the driver who crashed into another vehicle in Nesquehoning on Saturday morning.

According to Nesquehoning police Chief Sean Smith, Brandon Leslie, 31, of East Snyder Avenue, Lansford, was traveling east along Route 54 in a Jeep, but driving in the westbound lane just before 9:30 a.m. Leslie then struck a utility truck, driven by Adam Patzek of Blakeslee.

Patzek attempted to turn to avoid the collision but Leslie struck the truck head-on.

Route 54 was shut down for several hours to clean up the collision.

Leslie was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest for a blood test after 47 baggies of heroin/fentanyl, five baggies of methamphetamine, a bag of marijuana, a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia were found inside his vehicle.

Patzek, as well as a passenger in his vehicle, were taken to St. Luke’s Lehighton Campus for evaluation of their injuries.

Smith said that charges are pending against Leslie for the drugs and crash.

It's people like you trying to represent the Republican party that make people on the other side think that we are all closed minded, finger pointers. Open up your eyes...both parties are to blame for a lot of the issues in this country. Both Reps and Dems have forgotten that they are supposed to serve the citizens of our country, but they choose to serve their own parties instead. That is the root of our country's issues.
Fentanyl comes China. So let me guess Trump wants to put a wall in the ocean.
