Americans: Heads you lose, tails you lose

I think the biggest issue in america is that too many fail to seek out true facts and instead rely on “alternative facts”. Most of this letter’s narrative is blatantly false, with its “facts” manipulated to fit the potus defense.

Let’s start with facts and we can have bipartisanship in this country.

Recent - Trump made no statement to Russia or to Americans about the fact that on Jan 10th. a Russian Ship aggressively approached our U.S. War Ship Destroyer in the North Arabian Sea and came with in 180 ft. of hitting it. Video on You Tube.

Ok, let’s take this one falsehood at a time. I’m sure Terrence isn’t intentionally lying, he’s just not challenging himself to get the facts.

This is false. trump was invited to be involved in the congressional hearings both personally and by counsel but declined. However the gop was involved in all hearing and depositions, both behind closed doors and publicly and most certainly served as the president’s defense.

The constitution provides congress with oversight and impeachment powers and it is the majority’s responsibility to set rules, etc. Prior to the impeachment hearings congress passed a set of rules that governed these hearings. Terrence does not point out specific violations of congressional rules so it’s hard to discuss but I know that I could not find any reports that back up his claim that weren’t more than just partisan complaints.

Lie. The whistleblower was never anonymous. He/she came forward seeking protection under the whistleblower protections of the government. Their name is protected from publication to protect them from retribution. Everything that the whistleblower reported was corroborated by whitehouse documents and staff. And Jail is not even an option Terrence, the president faces removal from office not criminal prosecution.

NDAA, most recently authorized by Trump, had provisions to allow the president the ability to detain terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. There is a simple fix: tell trump to not authorize that power. This belongs to your beloved potus, no one else.

This statement is just ignorance of the impeachment process. Trump’s guilt or innocence is to be determined in the senate trial. The house merely brought charges. Do the democrats think trump is guilty? Yes, along with a lot of the independents in the country. Ask any prosecutor if they think the cases they argue are legit and you will hear the same. If anything, criticize the gop senators for announcing they won’t be fair jurors.

Terrence, I’m sure your intentions are good but your letter just spews lies. I think a fair discussion of whether trump’s actions should get him removed is important, but starting the discussion with falsehoods does not help our country.

Good letter. Impeachment is nothing new for Democrats. They abused their powers of impeachment, by introducing Articles against five of the six Republican presidents who have served since President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
What's interesting about this series of abuse, is that they declared the intention to impeach, two years before the conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky. It started with firing the liar, James Comey. Don't forget Stormy the Porn Star and her attorney Michael avin... now what was his name?

Who could forget Mueller's redacted report, revealing nothing. After this, Schiff's buddy, the whistle blower, who now has disappeared, was front page.
Just remember this, the stock market’s new record came in the middle of congressional Democrats’ effort to impeach Trump. Also, the people see how great a deal the China Trade Talks churned out. Most recent is the USMCA and it's success. People see all of this, and will react at the voting booth. It's certainly true that America was transformed, but we'll stop it.
We the people know what's going on. We see a glimpse of what Democrat leadership leads to when we watch what abuse Virginia's Northam has embroiled himself in.
The only way a Democrat can defeat this president, is by cheating, impeaching, or ending his life, and they have already made many threats toward our president. It's the norm for them. We will prevail. If God is with us, who can come against us.

Clinton's impeachment was "monumental and earthshaking" according to the author. Clinton's offense was he lied about a personal affair - which was of no consequence to the country or our democracy. On the other hand, the evidence is very strong that Trump committed an offense that our Founding Fathers envisioned, and provided impeachment as a penalty. All that is left is to hold a fair trial - which means bringing in the pertinent evidence and testimony. Evidence and testimony that Trump has obstructed - another offense that is contained in the Constitution. If that evidence and testimony is allowed as it should be, the outcome of the trial will be the opposite of what Mitch McConnell has "guaranteed" - even though he just signed a sworn pledge that he will be impartial.

And to think that Mighty Mitch said if the Dems get witnesses we want our witnesses i.e. Bidens son and Biden. Well guess what Mitch....Bolten, and the White House Tip Top Tier Toadies are YOUR witnesses.
