2 injured in 443 crash

Two people were injured Saturday evening  in a head-on crash along Route 443 in Lehighton.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. in the westbound lane.

One of the two vehicles came to rest against a boulder on the lot of NAPA Auto Parts.

The injured were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a local hospital.

Lehighton police are investigating the incident.
