Wilkes graduation, winter commencement 2019-20

Wilkes University awarded 302 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees when it held its winter commencement ceremony on Jan. 19.

Local students earning degrees include:

Barnesville: Abigail Machay, Bachelor of Arts with a major in criminology.

Jim Thorpe: Christine O’Donnell, Master of Science in Nursing with a major in nursing.

Lehighton: Felecia Anthony, Master of Science degree with a major in education.

Nesquehoning: Karen Kakaley, Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a major in nursing.

Orwigsburg: Jarrod Kramer, Master of Science with a major in education.

Saylorsburg: Jonathan White, Bachelor of Arts with a major in communications studies.

Tresckow: Patricia Kott, Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a major in nursing; Mickayla Nowak, Master of Science with a major in education.

Weatherly: Arianna Dempsey, Doctor of Nursing Practice with a major in nursing.
