Kidder Twp. planning OKs expanded horse track, elects Getz new chairman
At their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, Kidder Township’s Planning Commission reorganized.
Eugene Getz was elected chairman, and James Smith was elected vice chairman. Getz has served as chairman in the past.
There was only one item of business on the agenda. Wisser Stables, located on Old Stage Road in Albrightsville, asked for approval to expand the existing oval horse training track on the property to a full half mile.
The plan takes in the existing track and expands onto an adjacent pasture owned by Wisser Stables. The sketch plan was reviewed, and the project was approved.
The next regular Kidder Township Planning Commission meeting is at 6 p.m. March 4 at the township building in Lake Harmony.
