Man charged with homicide in wife’s strangulation death

HAMBURG (AP) — An eastern Pennsylvania man has been charged with homicide in the strangulation death of his wife earlier this year.

State police at Hamburg charged 56-year-old Gary Lenkiewicz with first- and third-degree murder, aggravated assault and assault involving strangulation in the Feb. 17 death of 58-year-old Suzanne Lenkiewicz.

Police said an autopsy concluded that the cause of death was manual strangulation. The defendant spent several days at Reading Hospital. A forensic pathologist said his wounds were consistent with self-inflicted injuries.

Troopers said the couple had a history of domestic incidents.

Court documents don’t list a defense attorney and a listed number for the defendant couldn’t be found Saturday.

His wife voted Democrat. Thank you Deviant Republicans for making it OK to murder those who disagree with you. America is Great Again.
